Substantial increase in the population of Warthog

IMG_7893.jpg

On recent safaris, several of our clients have been successful in collecting very large trophies of Warthog. At the same time we experience a substantial increase in the population of Warthog on our Klipplaat grounds. This increase is undoubtedly due to the improvements we have made in recent years with the construction of dams, ponds and waterholes spread across the vast hunting area. Warthogs are very dependant on access to waterholes where they roll in the mud in order to protect their skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
