Payment Terms

Booking of a safari requires a deposit at the time of booking of 50% of the cost of the safari based on the daily rate.

The remaining 50% are payable latest 60 days prior to commencing the safari. All trophy fees must be paid latest 60 days prior to commencing the safari. If any of the ordered/prepaid species are not shot, these will be refunded in cash at the finish of the safari. If trophy species other than those ordered/prepaid are shot, these must be paid for in full prior to departure.

An animal is regarded as shot (wounded) if blood (blood drops) or bone fragments from the animal are found and if the wounded animal cannot be found after a thorough search. The trophy fee is payable in full for such a wounded animal.

If a booked safari is cancelled by the guest, there is no refund of paid deposit unless cancellation is received latest 90 days prior to the planned commencement of the safari.

With at least 90 days prior notice, it will be possible to alter the dates for a booked safari without payment of a new deposit being required. 

If a booked safari is cancelled more than 90 days prior to the planned commencement of the safari, the paid deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of 15% of the total cost of the safari based on the daily rate.

Any payments due at the termination of the safari are payable in cash € (Euro). Credit cards or foreign currencies cannot be used.

Side by Side Safaris reserve the right to alter terms and prices without prior notice. From the time the deposit for a safari has been received, prices are, however, firm.

Although we will do everything in our power to prevent any harm to come to our guests, we renounce responsibility for any accident, injury, illness or damage or loss of property occurring during a safari.

Side By Side Safaris clients are advised that they hunt entirely on their own risk for the duration of the safari. Clients will be required to sign an indemnity form at the commencement of the safari.

The meat from animals shot during a safari is the property of Side By Side Safaris.
