Luxury safari as silver anniversary honeymoon
A Danish couple decided to celebrate their silver anniversary in style by giving each other an exclusive safari experience with Side by Side Safaris.
In addition to exciting hunting resulting in several record-class trophies, the safari included trout fishing in crystal clear mountain lakes and many other exciting wildlife experiences – as well as plenty of luxury indulgence for instance with a surprise dinner in the bush.
Both man and wife succeeded in bagging several top trophies, the wife, Hanne Rasmussen, being particularly successful by bringing down one of the largest Oryx bucks (Gemsbok) ever killed by a woman hunter. With horns measuring more than 43 inches on both sides, it probably qualifies as one of the biggest ever shot.
In addition to the Oryx, Hanne Rasmussen also collected gold-medal heads of Mountain Reedbuck and Steinbuck. All in all a silver anniversary never to be forgotten for the Rasmussen couple.
