Danish hunter bags new World Record

Side by Side Safaris' professional hunter (PH), Bjørn G. Jensen, recently bagged an Arabian Sand Gazelle (gazelle subgutturosa) on a test hunt in the desert of the Arabian Emirate, Abu Dhabi.  The Arabian Sand Gazelle is an extremely rare trophy, in this case, particularly so, as it turns out to be a new world record for the species. The record trophy is considerably bigger than the previously registered SCI record. Measured on the freshly shot animal, the trophy exceeds the former record by more than two inches. Even after the compulsory 60 days drying, this trophy will still be much bigger than the previous record.

On the same safari, PHs Flemming and Bjørn G. Jensen each took a trophy of both Arabian Sand Gazelle and Arabian Mountain Gazelle, and all four score among the top-ten trophies of these species in the SCI book of records.

The Abu Dhabi desert is among the first "worldwide destinations" that Side by Side Safaris as exclusive booking agent now offers hunting packages to. Read more about the exciting new possibilities at our website: www.sidebysidesafaris.com
