The success continues

We have recently completed yet another very successful safari. Danish hunter, Bo Jung, wanted to try for some specific, typical trophies from this region with Mountain Reedbuck topping his want list.

We are fortunate to have a very healthy population of Mountain Reedbuck on our own Klipplaat grounds and we frequently encounter record class trophies. After an eventful hunt, Bo was lucky enough to bag a superb specimen of this highly coveted game species. The buck was subsequently measured to place an all-time 8th in the world in the SCI book of records!

There has been several record class Mountain Reedbucks taken on our grounds recently, none however quite matches up to Bo's top trophy. In addition to the Mountain Reedbuck, Bo also took an Eastern Cape Kudu, a Blue Wildebeest, a Black Wildebeest, a Steenbok, a Blesbok, an Oryx and a Common Duiker – as well as a Vervet Monkey. The majority of the trophies were gold medal heads.
