Side by Side Safaris is a Danish family-owned safari and taxidermy business, owned and operated by the Jensen family: Bjørn, Lene and Flemming G. Jensen. Through more than 25 years, taxidermy was the main activity of the business. However, concurrent with building the taxidermy to be rated among the top taxidermy businesses in Europe we subtly prepared to realize our life's dream: owning and operating a professional safari business in South Africa. Some eight years ago we packed up in Denmark and moved both the taxidermy business and our private home to Eastern Cape Province in South Africa. Here we acquired one of the most beautiful and game-rich pieces of land in this part of Africa: the Klipplaat grounds located some three-hour's drive north of Port Elizabeth, the capital of Eastern Cape Province.

As a visiting hunter at Side by Side Safaris, you can rely on accommodation as well as the actual hunting activities and possible family outings maintain an extremely high quality in all aspects. We live on the lodge on a permanent basis ourselves. The lodge is a unique base for all activities during the safari. We are constantly hands-on with all decisions before, during and after the safari. All planning concerning travel arrangements is always done in close co-operation with our guests.
