Record class Steinbuck shot by Side by Side Safaris client

On a recent safari, our client managed to collect this unusual but very large Steinbuck trophy. Side by Side Safaris' professional hunters are very experienced in assessing trophy quality in the field and on this particular safari several gold medal class Steinbucks were observed.

This particular buck was observed in relatively open terrain on a plateau known to produce good bucks, and after a comparatively easy stalk, the hunter had his dream trophy. Subsequently, the trophy was officially measured and it places well within the Top 20 Steinbucks ever registered in the SCI Book of Trophy Records.

Side by Side Safaris' own hunting area, the beautiful Klipplaat grounds, provides an ideal biotope for the pretty little Steinbuck antelope. The area offers precisely those qualities required to consistently producing top trophies.
