Record-class buffalo taken by female Scandinavian hunter
New Year's Day 2018, female Scandinavian hunter, Charlotte Blinkenberg, took the ultimate buffalo trophy of her life. The buffalo was shot on a safari organized by Side by Side Safaris. Not only is it Charlotte's first buffalo trophy, as it turned out, it is the biggest buffalo trophy ever recorded in Nordic Safari Club's book of records.
The buffalo was hunted on Side by Side Safaris' own Klipplaat grounds – a location that offers ideal conditions for buffalo. The landscape is dominated by low mountains overgrown by dense, almost impenetrable bush. The area is divided between several groups of buffalo. Among them groups of bachelor bulls; old "Dugga Boys" with massive sets of horns.
