Our own Klipplaat grounds are home to a very strong population of the coveted Mountain Reedbuck. We often encounter really strong bucks on our grounds and medal-class trophies are not uncommon. Danish hunter Ole K. Larsen had nourished a strong desire to collect a good trophy of this gracious antelope for years when he booked a safari with us in the spring of 2016.

After an eventful hunt, Ole Larsen was finally able to fulfill his dreams of successfully collecting a magnificent Mountain Reedbuck. The trophy was subsequently measured to score among the fifteen largest ever recorded in the world.
