Side by Side Safaris' sister company, Diana Taxidermy, has also been very busy with lots of interesting trophy mounting jobs. In addition to trophies from most African safari countries, we are pleased to receive an increasing number of trophies for mounting from various European countries and other parts of the world.

Trophies from all over the world
Naturally the majority of the trophies we receive for mounting come from Africa. We receive a steady flow of exciting and beautiful trophies for mounting. For instance, we have recently completed five big male lion full mounts and six large crocodiles. At the time of writing there are three large elephants and several giraffe on their way to our workshop.

Short delivery times and easy home transport
With our European background and attitude towards our work, Diana Taxidermy is now widely acknowledged as one of the leading taxidermy businesses in South Africa with a standard delivery time of the completed trophy mounts of maximum seven months or less.

Hassle-free door to door delivery
We have great success in arranging home transport of trophies ourselves. The shipments are arranged by airfreight – at prices that fully match those normally offered for sea transport. The trophies are packed in sturdy wooden boxes, made to measure for each shipment. The boxes are subsequently picked up by our South African shipping agent who specialises in handling transports of trophies.

From the moment the trophies leave our workshop it takes normally a maximum of 10-14 days before they arrive at the recipient's doorstep, with all the paperwork in order and no trouble to our clients whatsoever. (Generally, it is otherwise not unusual with delivery times of up 1-2 years for trophies from South African taxidermists.
